What class to take for Real Estate Investor?
So when I grow up I want to own real estate and rent it out, buy and sell, flip houses etc. I would like to own a few homes, apartments, town homes, commercial real estate, etc. and rent out all these places for more or less what the mortgage is, and eventually just live off the rent coming in once the houses are payed off. So, what classes should I take at my local college to get a head start (I’m a sophomore in high school). Is there just a general real estate class, or is it more specific classes like financing and credit and stuff like that?
Oh yeah and please don’t post to tell me that I can’t do this to choose a different career or put my money into something else. Just answer the question of what classes to take.
Hey, if you have money to invest there isn’t anything wrong with investing it in RE.
As you are young and your bank roll os obviously from mom and dad you should have them mentor you.
But for your question, a degree, a real degree, in finance would be suitable.
I would not waste my time with community college, you can’t obtain a real degree from them and the lack of requirements to get in them will leave you without all of those valuable college contacts.
