How can i make a career out of buying and selling real estate?
I have a certain amount of money in a trust fund (not a large amount, but not really small) and after paying for my education, i was planning on becoming a real estate agent, and using my earnings from that and the remainder of my trust money and investing it in income properties and purchasing other real estate holdings (flipping houses etc.) is this a career path i should take? would anybody recomend going in to this business? I am a very driven, and determined person, I am becoming educated in business and have successful family members who own their own companies. I think that I would succeed in real estate and business, as I have always had an interest in it. sorry for the long explanation.
the market is’nt in the best shape right now, but when I’m out of school in 3 years it could be in very good shape
I agree now isn’t the best time. flipping works if you buy very low and sell lower then average (undercut average to sell fast) in a moderate to hot market. you can buy low with foreclosures, but so can everyone else. You also will get next to no funding help from banks.
